Bookshop returns policy

All textbook sales are final, unless a class is cancelled by Curtin Singapore. A full refund will be given if textbooks are returned with:

  • Books must be in saleable conditions. New textbooks must be in new condition.
  • No marks, writing, highlighting, bent corners, & etc. in them
  • Cash register receipt
  • Unit withdrawal slip within the scheduled return period as listed on the book supplier schedule.
This applies only to books purchased during the current semester at the temporary book shop from the period of 27 Feb to 16 Mar 2012.

Refunds cannot be issued on opened, poly-wrapped textbooks that say NOT RETURNABLE IF OPENED.
Deadlines on the refund policy are posted on the temporary bookshop manned by the book supplier engaged by Curtin Singapore. It is the responsibility of students to check the condition of the books upon purchase for any damages, missing pages etc ...Students are advised to keep all cash register receipts.

The unit withdrawal slip and sales receipt are required to protect all parties involved and to help eliminate refunds paid on stolen or lost books.

Any defective textbook will be replaced within 3 days from date of purchase. Please remember to check your purchase upon sale of item.


Textbook Exchanges due to withdrawal

Students are allowed to exchange textbooks within 2 weeks from the withdrawal date. No exchange will be accepted after the census date (27 Mar 2012). Please produce your unit withdrawal slip upon exchange.


Used Book Buy Back

Books supplier engaged by Curtin Singapore and Curtin Singapore Library will not sell and buy back the used books. Curtin Singapore students may post their used textbooks buy and sales notice on the notice board at the student lounge or level 1, block A.
